Tagged: beretta 1301 unloaded start
Hi,
Just after some advice with regards to an unloaded start with a Beretta 1301. The carrier stop (Small silver button at the back of the carrier) – What is the most popular way to depress this to get the first round onto the carrier, before racking the bolt?
I have tried with using my weak hand, after loading the tube, but I am sure there is a better way of doing it. Any advise or guidance is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jan
Hi Jan,
Many people pull the trigger as they rotate the gun up into the mount and then rack as they shoulder it.

Thanks! And that is allowed under the rules? Just don’t want to get into trouble for having a finger in the trigger guard while loading.
Cheers,
Jan
